Wes "Soldier" Combs (born June 18, 1973) is an American mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Heavyweight division. Wes was supposed to be on the show but due to undisclosed issues he could not make the show. After the taping of the show Wes was able to make it on The Ultimate Finale 3 were he faced Mike Nickels. Wes then was invited back by UFC to fight Wilson Gouveia at UFC 62. He lost his last fight at King of the Cage - Rock Solid against Tony Lopez on July 19, 2008. His nickname "Soldier" comes from the fact that he is a former U.S. Marine. He has fought for MMA organizations such as the UFC, and King of the Cage. Wes's most notable fights were against Shannon Ritch, Mike Nickels, and Wilson Gouveia.
